Using this site means agreeing to these terms. They're short and written in plain English, because terms nobody reads protect nobody.
What this site is
Payroll Watchdog publishes editorial reviews and comparisons of fraud-detection and related software. It's research material, not professional advice — not legal, financial, accounting, or security advice. Choosing software to protect a business against fraud is a judgment call only you can make, ideally with your accountant or counsel in the room for the big ones.
Accuracy, and its limits
We verify pricing and features against vendor sources and stamp each listing with the date we last checked. But vendors change prices, rename plans, and retire features without telling us, so we can't guarantee any detail is still current when you read it. Always confirm on the vendor's own site before you buy. If you catch something stale, tell us and we'll fix it.
Affiliate relationships
Some outbound links are affiliate links, and vendors can buy labeled sponsored placements. Both are disclosed where they appear, and neither buys a better review — the full policy is on the methodology page.
Who owns what
The reviews, scores, guides, and everything else written here belong to Payroll Watchdog. Quote from them with attribution and a link — that's fine and encouraged. Republishing whole pages, scraping the site into a dataset, or passing our work off as yours isn't. Vendor names, logos, and screenshots belong to their respective owners and appear here to identify the products being reviewed; no vendor endorses this site or is affiliated with it.
What we can't promise
The site is provided as-is. We work to keep it accurate and online, but we can't accept liability for decisions made on the strength of a review, for losses caused by a tool we listed (or one we didn't), or for the occasional outage. Your recourse if you disagree with something here is the same one we'd want: stop reading, or write in and change our mind.
Changes
If these terms change, the new version appears on this page with a new date. No retroactive tricks. These terms were last updated July 6, 2026.
